Pablo A. Rodriguez : About the Artist

Pablo A. Rodriguez (b. 1979) blends his formal training in representational oil painting with his own signature style of vibrant color and expressive brushstrokes.  Into this mix he stirs his experience as a commercial artist with a modern edge.  His work reveals evidence of classical influence as well as a contemporary, graphical aesthetic.   Born and raised in Puerto Rico and having earned a BFA degree from the prestigious Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL, Rodriguez brings a diverse blend of cultural and visual influences to his art.  He currently resides in Sarasota, FL where he enjoys spending time in his studio creating original works of fine art and illustration using various traditional and digital media.
